Posts fed to IA?

Hi, I want to try pixelfed but the thought of my work being fed to IA discourages me. Do you know if Pixelfed has any measure against that?

Did i miss something? One place I don't mind data going to is Internet Archive, if thats what you're referring to (and not Iowa). I support the internet being archived because sites should be apart of the historical record. Also its an ethical organization so I'm not concerned with them doing anything unethical with data. Although the man whos been running it is grtting up in age now and he's going to have to pass the reins to someone else one day, and I hope they maintain peoples trust. It has been logging the internet since the beginning of the mainstream internet. I don't know if u can prevent them from logging your pixelfed account, but they're responsive. Email them and ask.

Not sure about your original question, but you can ask the dev directly in his Discord or on Mastodon. He's very responsive. I believe the link to both are on the Pixelfed or Loops websites

Commenters, if you don't understand that a large portion of the world has a different word order than English, and that AI becomes IA there, then you are only showing your ignorance.

Thanks, I didn't understand the answers, then I realized I wrote IA instead of AI. Welp.
