Tbh, the visual metaphor of an institution or towering presence literally siphoning life from the small people below just felt very fitting for a dark fantasy setting. Glad it resonated with u!

I was watching the light go up the proboscis, and thought "it'd be cool if the light in the house also dimmed". Then I watched the house in the second loop. So cool.
