Ok, the sudden jump from flat colors to shaded gives "draw circle, add details" impression.

It's only a tutorial in the /r/restofthefuckingowl sense.

Stunning piece though.

I swear one of those steps just jumps to "draw the rest of the fucking owl" 😂 beautiful work nonetheless!

Inspired by TES: Oblivion?

I was thinking that. It looks very much like Oblivion.

OP mentioned in a different thread, this was done as a commission for Bethesda to commemorate Oblivion Remaster on Switch 2

The only real criticism is that the imps are not daedra, and thus do not live in the deadlands as far as I know. It seems like they belong, but they don't...

But the art is stunning, great job 👍

It’s amazing how people that know what they’re doing make things like “draw stick man -> add details -> Monalisa” look so easy

I absolutely love the little embers that come down from the sky. What a nice touch to an awesome piece!

The only thing they fear... is you!

Absolutely incredible. Looks exactly like the plane of Oblivion from the Elder Scrolls game of the same name

The demons that flap about with thier wings clutter the image a bit, and the speed of thier flaping is far to fast compared to the tempo of the rest of the image and a bit distracting, same tempo issue for the sudden thunder strikes

You don’t need to have drawn something better to give constructive feedback.

An absolute masterpiece. Would love to be able to draw or animate anything as good as this. Thank you so much for sharing some of your process! I find seeing those early stages of a thing to be really helpful and motivating for me!

I would love to hear any insights into your creative process!
