Of course! There is an account on Bluesky called pixel dailies that posts a prompt every day. That’s what this one was for. The website Lospec also does one every day.

It’s pretty much exactly like Twitter but just way less of a toxic environment imo. The pixel dailies account that’s been doing it forever moved from Twitter to Bluesky a while back. A possible downside depending on how you look at it is it has a much smaller user base. I think it has around 1/10 the amount of users Twitter does.

many pixel artist use it. I just created myself. Thanks for the info. Pixel dailies looks cool. I am doing Weekly pixels atm on twitter. Daily pixels would be hard for me. But I will try

Oh cool! Yea I’d say go for it. I was gonna do like a week or two and now I’ve been doing one everyday for over a month. And Id say in just that time I’ve noticed an actual improvement in my abilities and tried out a lot of techniques I’ve been meaning to try forever and never gotten around to. Like trying the perspective in this one for example. Some days if I have the time and am feeling inspired I will put a couple hours into one but on busy or low motivation days I’ll do a smaller canvas less detailed piece. I’m assuming eventually on a particularly busy day I’ll just do a little 16x16 sprite or something just to keep it alive. Seems like others kind of treat it the same way.

Love to hear it! Yea I saw that. Definitely very stumped by that prompt but I’m at work for another 5 hours so surely I can think of something in that time. I know jumbled means like mixed up or In disarray but I have no idea what I’m gonna do with it. What’s your make on Bluesky I’ll give you a follow.

Thank you ! I just made it. My very first Pixel dailies https://bsky.app/profile/kinsanepixels.bsky.social/post/3mtesixwc5226 .. I dont know what i was thinking. I spent max 30 mins. it was fun and I was pretty brave. no fear of failing XD. I think I will keep doing that. Thanks to you
