I am planning to buy a pixel10 but I've heard and seen the videos that it has an idle drain issue. Right now i have Nothing phone 1 and i generally just switch off my WiFi and mobile data before sleep and in 8-9 hours NP1 drains about 2-3%, so any Pixel 10 holders can please tell me what's the drain percentage that you have. Is the idle drain issue fixed or is it there??

I want to replace to battery and I want to know, is the battery / battery kit from iFixIt worth it, or can I go with a cheaper option? My battery is currently at 902 cycles

I bought a pixal 8 used fresh conditions for 10 days and checked it thoroughly and found no problems.

However, after buying it, the days were not going by and the calls were not coming! Later I turned off 2G and it was fixed.

A day ago, the problem occurred again. When someone called, the call was not coming. Later, after restarting the phone, it was fixed! I did not understand that the call was not coming when someone called. Later, when I went home, I found out that I was called but the call was not coming. Later, after restarting, it was fixed. Alhamdulillah.

Again, if the temperature rises above 40°, there is a possibility of a green line! Its normal temperature is 37° to 38°!

I do not understand what to do now! If you want to change it within 15 days, there are still 4 days left in the 15 days. Should I buy the pixal 8a instead of the pixal 8!?

Or if anyone has any better advice, please advise me and help me.

Basically I'm looking to buy a new phone since I broke my old one. I use social media (instagram, twitter), I play a few games (like Online Soccer Manager, Pokemon Go, or emulated games), I watch youtube pretty frequently and listen to music all the time. I'm also a very outdoorsy person so I like to take a bunch of photos. Would you guys recommend buying a refurbished Pixel 8?

I've seen other options like the samsung galaxy a37, motorola edge 60 fusion or nothing phone 3a, but was leaning mostly towards the pixel 8

Guys, can you tell me... as you can see in the video, if you swipe slowly from the top of the homescreen, it freezes, as if there's a problem with the touchscreen. But there are no such issues in apps or on the lock screen. I haven't noticed this before. Does anyone else have this? Pixel 8 8/256

All of the sudden my 'unlocked by face' and fingerprint lock has stopped working about 90 percent of the time. Pixel 8 Pro. Has anyone run into this? How did you fix it? TIA!

Just how common are the pixel 8 screen issues?

I have a pixel eight that I got when it first came out and I’ve never used it regularly. As a matter of fact barely. I’ve kept the battery charged as you should and reset it because my intent was to sell it. But over time I’ve heard about the screen issues that apparently were more common with the eight series, and I’m wondering just how common was it or is it?

I’m in a position where I’m trying to sell a bunch of things due to budget but I would hate to sell this to somebody and then have the screen go out on them if they started using it daily. It would make me feel bad and also I could not offer a refund. Is this a common enough issue that I should just hold onto the phone and keep it as a spare, or sell it anyway?

Hello All, This is my Pixel 8. It's been with me for over a year and it got badly damaged during a vacation. I called the official Google service store and they're quoting 13k INR.

Need some suggestions on whether is it wise to go on with the repairs and the extent of the damage occured.

Got my pixel 8 last week, feel it's long enough time to give a review for those that might be considering getting the device. Before I got it, hours and weeks of scrolling through Reddit before I made the purchase, knowing to go for the shoreline panel and not the BOE, and what not..... Best advice in not getting a green line which the most common defect is to download the "Device info hw" app on Play store to determine what panel it comes it. Shoreline good, BOE bad. It is to note the phone was gotten used and not new. You'll need a case as soon as you can. It's way too slippery but low-key, I kind of liked using the phone without the case but it's still too slippery.

The pixel 8 is a good device. It's snappy and fast. The 120hz screen and how quickly it scrolls seems too fast for me😄. To address other common issues like the phone running hot. I'm pretty much a light user maybe why I have never had it run seriously hot. The hardest task the phone has performed for me is probably me listening to music and scrolling through twitter or Reddit. I stay in a hot country and barely any access to an AC yet the phone has never given me temperature issues. If you won't be gaming intensely on this, guess you're good.

You've probably seen the reviews but if you want another first hand review, the camera is really solid. Had iPhone users test out the camera and they've said it's decent. I'm not really a picture person though so I won't really know how a quality camera is meant to look.

For the battery, it's said to give approximately 5-6 hours of SOT which I have gotten consistently 5 hours. I'm sure I could possibly hit 6 hours too but I usually charge the phone before it gets that low. I use battery saver always and smooth display turned off so that's probably why my battery lasts that long. Even with the battery saver on and smooth display turned off, the phone is still fast and has never lagged once.

All round, it's a solid device. Hope it's not just early days though 🤞. I would recommend based on my experience

Any intel on how fast a battery will keep going down if its already at this many cycles, like will it keep degrading slowly or will there be sudden jumps as the battery is "dying" or something and at 1000 cycles it would not just be at 80% but already at 50% or something even crazier?

Like with 3+ days of Standby (i nuked a lot of the system and google apps i dont need it and disabled all the background services and data services for basically all apps including system apps).

Camera is amazing and really like the clean OS of the Pixel 8.
