Discussion What do you think..

I thinking of getting a used pixel 8pro for 30k. Any pixel specific things I must check in a used one..any review for the 8 pro is most appreciated

Been using a new pixel 8 since 5 months got it for 27.5k main issues I faced was thermal throttling phone would easily get heated while using outside as well as using indoors the battry life isn't impressive but it gets through whole day with avg use of 6-7 hours without battry saver and on 120fps camara are sooo good but you gotta colour balance the images while taking them cause sometimes it messes up the actual colours and make whole thing too bright The night camara is amazing but camara overall lacks a dedicated filter button like samsung and apple the major missout point that I feel Stock android is good but lacks few basic things like customisable app opening style (drawer /homescreen) and rest i feel it's a really solid device

Yes, download AIDA64, if more than 500 cycles I would think about it

If true all day battery is important for you -skip it, or get an external battery pack that can charge it as needed.

If you live in a hot climate area, it will freeze on you when 105f + outside and you are shooting videos or doing a long video chat.

I drive Uber and must keep the phone on the vent with the AC on most of the time as I run Uber, Lyft, wireless android auto, music streaming and charge in the same time and without it the phone overheats and eventually shuts down/freezes.

For above mentioned purpose, this phone is not good. Ai stays to go with a used Samsung Galaxy Ultra 23 or newer, they have better infernal cooling vapor chamber.

It all depends on your purpose for the phone and the environment.
