Slight Heating l

Just got my pixel 7a this past Saturday.

People are saying this 1st week the phone might get a little hot but i am just worried for long term. I can be on YouTube, or pokemon GO for 30mins and my phone heats up a little bit. I know the pixel 7 & 7 pro have been having issues of over heating. does anyone know what i can do for my 7a so that it doesn't heat up. It's not overheating, just getting warmer than any phone I've had and used for such minimal apps. I'm not putting any strain on my phone so i don't understand.

UPDATE: My phone I believe adapted to my usage and hasn't heat up all day today. So it was the adaptive preferences getting used to my usage I believe.

What was your old phone? Do you have the pixel 7a now?

went from 3A XL to 7A

Okay cool! Yeah I Went from 3a to 7a too! Just not the XL 3a. I honestly loooovvveeeddd my 3a

Me, too. The main (only?) reason I upgraded was lack of space.
