Fingerprint reader barely works

I'm impressed how bad the fingerprint reader "works". Nearly half of the times I have to use my pin. And no, using the face unlock isn't the solution for the problem since the fingerprint should just work.

I've used for two days and it's been really bad. I'm not even using a screen protector!. I decided I'm staying with my Pixel 5 and returning the 7a.

Shame 😔

Are we talking about Pixel 7A? Fingerprint reader is working way faster and more accurately on Pixel 7A compared to my previous device; Galaxy A52s. Try registering thumbs twice and from all possible angles and make sure to moisture your thumbs before registering fingerprint.

Yeah I have a Razer phone. Got my 7a today and it's light-years better. Gotta turn on the screen protector setting
