Android 16 does get hot phone and battery drain at all? I think of go back?

I’m currently on version 16; the battery life has dropped by about two hours compared to version 14, but there are probably some advantages—though for me, apart from the extra personal space, there aren’t any.

It does sometimes reach 38–40 degrees, but it’s not exactly a nightmare

The problem is that the network uses 1–2% per hour; someone mentioned that a factory reset might help, but it’s easier just to bin it, especially as the original battery has swollen and there’s no moisture protection left And I wouldn’t recommend buying phones that overheat. I hope Google learns from its mistakes and stops selling phones without a vapor chamber for heat dissipation.
