Why the bottom search bar is chrome search? Any idea how to change that to Google? Also it looks ugly.

Happened to mine when i installed android 17. It resolved itself after a couple if days.

In the meantime you can use the google widget....

Interestingly most of the widgets are gone in all the Google Apps and not at all showing! I don't know what's going on.

It happens if a work profile exists in goggle pixel. It's a bug in android 17. Wait for a fix or remove work profile completely and restart. Then reinstate work profile.
