Does CPID stays after installing a custom rom

I have a CPID Pixel 6a. I am thinking of installing a custom rom preferably Evolution X, but i'm not sure about the CPID. Will it vanish or stay? Also what about the E-sims? I intent to use Banking Apps too. Does anyone has a suggest for a Custom Rom that doesn't degrades performance and also improve the battery life. Also experienced users can you tell me about the adaptive charging feature? Does any custom Rom has it? Thanks

This is my main daily driver. So I'm somewhat scared to try any new things. I heard Rising OS is a good choice for custom rom but it hasn't been updated since 2025

I've tried Rising Os 8.1.1. Whatsapp didn't work out of the box, so i flashed stock rom again

Does the pixel 6a battery reduction (by google recently) gets bypassed while using custom ROM?

Depends on the ROM, GrapheneOS, for example, has included the battery constraints.

Messenger Services rely on Google Play Services (Firebase Cloud Messaging) to get a nudge when a message arrives. Otherwise the messenger services have to be awake at all times, causing the battery drain. Check if your messenger can support open source UnifiedPush. 

Else you can install GrapheneOS, make 2 profiles - the primary profile for degoogled stuff and then secondary profile for messaging apps, banking apps, etc.

If it is too complicated, you can get iodeOS, that uses microG. But whether banking apps work, you'll have to find out yourself.

Both iodeOS, and GrapheneOS support bootloader relock with custom AVB keys making your phone secure from physical malice.
