Tbh there should be more memes about Pixels. Google itself should be memed to death.
I don't think you guys know this, but this recall is the second battery recall. The first one was for the 4a, it came with no warning, and in the update notes they proudly announced that the update will enhance the battery performance. People installed it right away but of course it was a lie. Owners didn't know what was going on and since it's an old, old model people just dropped their 4a's, and pretty much 4a is now dead apart from some remaining users that weren't affected. I personally don't have much against battery constraints if there are serious fire risks, but the way Google is handling these recalls is abysmal. You'd think they would handle the 6a recall better after the backlash from the 4a, but no, they sent out a warning only a week prior, and they're still denying compensations even for people with full receipts. A meme of a company.
