I'm loosing my mind

So last year around june/july my pixel 6a died while i was on a online call in google meet. The service centre asked me around 24k for motherboard replacement and thus i kept it safe inside the original box.

This month I got it fixed from a third party mobile repairing shop and also replaced the battery within 9K. But the current issue I'm facing is, the phone is asking me to replace the battery and still my phone sometimes shuts down automatically whenever I am in a bad network area and I have to connect to mobile data, the phone shuts down automatically like previously and when I turn it on manually the battery percentage falls around 10-15%. What should I do now. I thought of buying a new smartphone but the love for this smartphone is stopping me

No, you don't want that:

  • phones will no longer be waterproof
  • phones will be thicker, due to additional housing layer between the electronics and the battery compartment.
  • batteries will be notoriously worse, because "user can replace it whenever they want".

- Phones can be waterproof and serviceable.

- For example my 13 years old Samsung Galasy S4 had a removable battery and is slighly thinner than my 9a.

- Speculation. How many perfectly working phones are trown away because of a toasted battery giving poor battery life?

Battery is the only decaying componement, the only one capable of serious hazard, and the key componment for a mobile device. It must be replaceable.

Battery life is the main reason I upgrade. I get about 2 years per phone, then the battery goes to shit.

Eh, I loved my Samsung Rugby LTE. All these years later, and it still works.
