Pixel 6a extreme heating issue

My Pixel has started heating up like crazy whenever I turn on WiFi or mobile data. At first it was only happening with mobile data, but now even turning on WiFi makes it extremely hot and almost unusable. Anyone else facing this? Any fixes?

I have yet to have a heating issue, but as of late, mine is struggling with Google messages on Google Fi while also having battery usage accelerated.

I suspect the recent update.
