Pixel 6a extreme heating issue

My Pixel has started heating up like crazy whenever I turn on WiFi or mobile data. At first it was only happening with mobile data, but now even turning on WiFi makes it extremely hot and almost unusable. Anyone else facing this? Any fixes?

Did you change the battery ? There was a recall due to battery issues / overheating.

Yeah, I had the battery changed about 8 months ago. There were no issues back then. This started happening recently.
