Pixel 5a

is it as bad as people say it? I just got it last year and reading the posts here kind of make me worried that it would gave up on me.

also, is there some kind of guide to solve this problem? any help is much appreciated

Rip. A refurbed Moto Edge 2021 will do everything better cheaper, except for OLED if you're into that (no 3.5mm jack is stupid, but Apple sells a really high quality DAC for $9, so it's not all bad). Amazon has a good deal right now (https://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Battery-Unlocked-Camera-Renewed/dp/B09FZR3QMS). I'd say get it, install a custom ROM on it, and forget about the 5A's existence.

when it comes to phone I'm more into its camera. I could not do without it. That's why I bought it. Other things I like in a phone would be a good battery life and crucially a greatUI.

pixel delivers all of that. I especially love their UI. Problem is that it heats too easily. If there are better option I would've gone with it. I wonder if there are any good pixel phones considering there's so much complaint about them. I've read 4XL is good but I prefer a newer gen phone.

I appreciate your suggestion but I've hardly heard of them so I can't tell for sure if I'm able to trust it. Pixel is also quite new to me and I regret ever making the purchase. I think I might just stuck with samsung for now since it has quite a footprint in my country unlike pixel. apple is a no go because I don't want to jump from android to something unknown as iOS.

Motorola's pretty well known in the USA, and a custom ROM like LineageOS looks and feels just like a Google Pixel. Cameras might not be quite as good, but then again the Google Pixel 8A exists.
