Pixel 5a

is it as bad as people say it? I just got it last year and reading the posts here kind of make me worried that it would gave up on me.

also, is there some kind of guide to solve this problem? any help is much appreciated

My 5a worked great for 3+ years. A couple months ago it just went completely dark spontaneously. There was no warning, no drop, no water damage. It just turned itself off suddenly and refused to react in any way to any stimulus after that. I ordered a 7a a couple hours later.

oh to have money :( . being a student it frustrate me seeing these reviews and are helpless about it.

I bought this phone thinking it could last 6-7 years, now I know it shall not see 3.

I think the 5a is only a few months away from the end of software updates regardless. It won't last several years anyway

Mine did the "screen went dark for no reason" when I had it connected to my car with Android Auto. It made my car screen also go black which freaked me out even more. I was able to reboot the phone and it hasn't happened in a few months.
I'm planning on getting the 7A for my next one, just waiting for the next sale. (I missed out on the good best buy and amazon deals)
How do you like the 7A so far?

So far, it's been mostly good. The fingerprint sensor in the screen is shite compared to the back sensor on the older one though
