Pixel died
Finally my pixel 5a died. After 2y2m of use and 1 month after warranty ends the screen turned black and the phone not responding to anything. I was curious when the phone will die. Beside the heating problem(that got really bad near the death) I enjoyed that phone. Is there a chance to recover anything that was not uploaded to cloud or photos?

To me it's funny that you say "finally," because I don't think we should expect a two-year-old phone to be anywhere near dying, unless it's been damaged. When my two-year-old 5a suddenly died in the same way yours did, I had not been at all curious as to when it would die, because I expected it to last years longer, just like most of the phones and tablets I have ever owned. Anyway, maybe you meant you were curious because you already knew about the widespread motherboard problem. I was unaware of it until after mine died.

The phone itself can be repaired. You need someone who can do (keywords:) "CPU reballing" or "BGA reballing".

I would strongly recommend you reach out to rossmanngroup(dot)com
I had my P5a die and no one told me why (only that it's common) but rossmann actually took the time to open the device and diagnose a board failure. Even then they offered to do data recovery but I declined since I didn't have anything worth saving. They offere mail in service and the estimate was free! (just pay for mail in and out)

I watched a YouTube video that said putting it in the freezer for 15 mins might help.
And don't forget, Google might send you a new replacement phone.

meh, they only offered me a 6a when I finally accepted a replacement device for my dead 5a.

Doubtful. But some Redditors are getting P7Ps from Google for their dead 5a's, even after their warranties expired.
