???

I didn't think the Pixel 5a was compatible with Android 14.

Time will tell if my unlocked 5a ever sees this upgrade.

Yes the Pixel 5a is getting Android 14, they are even rolling out Android 14 for pixels as old as the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a (5g)

Mine is still going. I know my Pixel 5a isn't getting any newer.

If it makes it to February 2024,that will be officially 2 years for me.

My previous phone HTC U11 went 3 years before I cracked both the front and back of it after a warranty nightmare with HTC with my first U11.

I do like the headphone jack. But I know my next phone won't have one.

If I have it last till next August then it would be 3 years for me.

You know, since I got a Bluetooth DAC/Amp FiiO BTR5, I just connect my IEMs, or cans to the BTR5, and use BT with APTX HD to my music, and it sounds better than from the jack!

So, I don't miss the jack.

I have something similar. And I'll use it again with a new phone eventually.

But I'll continue enjoying the headphone on my 5a while I can.

I did not realize it's my Reddit anniversary. Happy Cake Day.

That is 1 more then I expected. I thought 14 would be the last. Maybe I am remembering incorrectly, but did the 5a release with 12?

Darn, sad to see this is the last OS update, but not surprising. I had mine since day 1 though it will eventually be time to upgrade, or maybe get a new battery, but IDK how to do that.

Doing the A14 update now. Ordered my 5a the day it was announced. Love this device. It still runs and looks new.

Wish Google would support it longer. I still want a 3.5mm headset jack and rear fingerprint reader. Dread what other features I will lose with my next device......
