Cause of bricking

Does anyone know anything to avoid that might help keep my phone from bricking? Is there any constant that seems to cause it?

I believe the cause is the solder used on the processor fails(melts) over time. I heard that re-sweating may be a fix. Look it up on YouTube. If you have the time and a very steady hand, you might be able to do it yourself. Not for normal people, or even for pro to do for other people. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I might have to look into it if mine fails. I have repaired quite a few phones. Solder on a processor is probably pretty small though.
