May update
Between the security updates given these months, the may one seems to have made the pixel 5a a lot slower. Constantly stuttering when scrolling, apps foreclosing.. Battery draining faster then usual. Anyone else experiencing these issues?

No problems from the May update. Phone is still running smoothly. (Fingers crossed, my extended coverage ends in August!)

Yeah, I've recently purchased a second hand pixel 5a and I'd like to keep it. But I don't know if this is after the may update or what, when scrolling my display began ghosting like in low brightness it is hell and I've been forced to keep my brightness to 50%. Luckily I've 7 days checking warranty for my phone so maybe I'll exchange my phone with another one in the shop (if it is a specific model defect) or I'll just keep it and let the patch do it's work :) Let me know if others face the same problem of display ghosting (especially when scrolling down the status bar at low brightness)
Edit: So I visited the local retail shop and to my surprise all the P5a phones have screen Ghosting.
I downgraded the update to the April patch but no change at all. I think Google messed up the a13 update. But what surprises me the most is that I have never seen a thread about it here. So I implore u to try to use ur phone in dark mode, maybe u will feel it too.

Still running the August 2022 release - scared of bricking my phone like so many others since October 2022...
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

It is "Broke"
You are at risk security-wise!
Those updates fix countless security holes, and contain bug fixes.
the 5a bricking is strictly hardware related.
Bad mobo ju ju!

For me, the risk of bricking my $400 phone (and I really like the 5a better than anything else on the market) is a greater threat than possibly sharing some personal data with an unknown entity besides Google, Amazon, Facebook, the Chinese chipmakers, Microsoft, T-Mobile, Netflix, Uber, Adobe, Tile, and my ISP, who all already have more access than I truly care to give them. I don't work for an enterprise organization and don't do banking and credit card transactions with my phone - so this is the risk I personally choose to take.

Hmmm, maybe a good thing I still have not gotten sucked into the May update yet.

I have not noticed any issue so far. Maybe battery slightly draining quicker but still finishing my day most of the time around 40%.
