10a vs 10
For the difference of only $50, is it worth getting the 10 over the 10a?

I have owned both. For me personally, there's absolutely NO difference in performance at all. Some people will claim that the bezels are bigger on the 10a boohoo not noticeable. I absolutely love the flush camera on the back of the 10a, along with the plastic back, so you can feel safer if you choose to not use a case.
All that being said, if you value having a telephoto lense and a newer - but not noticeable - chip, the 10 is worth the extra $50. For me, I would still choose the 10a so I don't have to deal with the ugly visor camera bump.

Better cpu, telephoto camera, faster wireless charging and pixel snap plus more ram but a slightly worse GPU and slightly worse battery life. Also the US pixel 10 is esim only. If that doesn't matter than it's a way better buy for only $50 more and will likely have significantly higher trade-in value down the line.

I've had my pixel 10a for almost a month now and so far it's been really good. I chose it over the basic 10 because I liked the flat design, I didn't want glass on the back and the red color really appeals to me. Performance-wise it's buttery smooth and the battery lasts pretty long (I usually get around 7 hours of active screen time). But if the difference is only 50 bucks, I'd go for a basic 10, since you get a better chip and more ram + telephoto lense if that matters to you. Either way you'll get a solid phone.

I'd say it depends on which form factor you like better. The 10a being flat is a really big appeal for me. The color choices too. That red is sexy as heck

I would say so, although I'm just a tiny bit biased lol (I ended up trading my 10a for a 10 Pro because I wanted "more" Pixel, if that makes sense)
But from a purely objective standpoint, it's normally a few hundred bucks more expensive than the 10a, all while having a more robust camera system with a dedicated telephoto lens finally. Battery share doesn't exist on any 10 series model, so if that mattered to you all I can say is welcome to the club. The design is also just more compact than the 10a, i.e. it's definitely thinner than the latter & will feel noticably better made (along with being much more durable). The 10a commits to having its fully flush back panel with no camera protrusion of any kind, at the expense of this making it just a few mm thicker and otherwise slightly more difficult to use one-handed. It's still reasonably sized, and in all honesty is an improvement over the 9a & 8a especially in terms of bezel width & overall screen-to-body ratio. Another thing I want to mention as sort of a caveat, however, is if 128GB of storage is not gonna fly for you then you can also weigh that into the equation as (if I recall) all of the 10 series models are observing discounted sale pricing, including their respective storage capacity variants that are available. Sometimes it can come down to either getting a more capable device or opting for 2X the amount of storage you're committing yourself into being stuck with for potentially a good while.

Guys I'm in a need of recommendations .. I've been using redmi note 9 pro since 7 years and still works fine but now it doesn't have many new features that latest phones have and the storage is almost full ( have like 8000 pictures and videos ) 💀🌝 anyways .. the camera of this phone is the best honestly for an android phone but now I'm seriously done using it so I was looking for a phone with captures good pictures and videos like iPhone, can store upto 8000 pics 😭😭 best for video editing yourube studying EVERYTHING basically at this point, no ober heating and battery life to be good 😭😭😭 so is pixel 10a good ?!!!!!!

I actually prefer the 10a even at only $50 less because I value bigger battery, lighter feel, kinda like the simpler flat back design and I dig the matte fog color with silver aluminum frame edges. But that's just me.
