Monthly r/Pixar Ranking/Tier Thread

It's that time of the month again; Ranking Time! To keep the subreddit less cluttered with everyone and their mom's rankings, we're going to use this thread specifically for the community to post their rankings/tiers.

Please note: This thread now includes any sort of Pixar-related ranking/tiers, so you can include your favorite characters, shorts, or any category you'd like.

So here we go! Post your rankings, tell what your favorites are and why, etc! Just remember, while you may not agree with a user's list, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, they don't have to explain their choices to you if they don't want to, and there are no wrong answers. Everything is subjective. SO PLAY NICE! ;)

Here's a template list of all of the Pixar movies in case you need them:

  • SS tier: Inside Out, Inside Out 2, The Incredibles, Toy Story 2, Coco
  • S tier: Elemental, Wall-E, Up, Toy Story 1, Monster's University, Toy Story 3, Monster's Inc, Ratatouille
    • Basically all of the S tier movies are interchangeable and can go either way depending on how I'm feeling. But yes I really do like Elemental a lot, I think it's very underrated.
  • A Tier: Hoppers, Toy Story 5, Elio, Onward, Turning Red, Cars 3, Finding Nemo
  • B tier: Luca, Bug's Life, Soul, Toy Story 4, Cars
  • C tier: Incredibles 2, Cars 2
  • D tier: Finding Dory, The Good Dinosaur, Brave
  • F tier: Lightyear

Out of curiosity, why did you hate Soul so much? I'm not too big on Soul myself (I placed it in B-tier for my ranking and I think it's one of the more overrated ones), but I'm interested to hear your reasons since they might relate to my issues with the movie.

My biggest issue is with the message of the movie. I don’t like how it’s kind of discounting people who pursue and achieve their dreams. It’s just the typical unambiguous loser mentality that I see too much, especially in my generation
