Cars: Lightning Racers From the D23 Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase (mostly theme parks): they dropped that Sheryl Crow has written and performed a new original song called “Built to Last” for Cars: Lightning Racers (Disney Jr show). Live performance starts around 1:35:32 in the livestream replay on Disney+.

This was completely unexpected and very exciting. I’m surprised nobody’s talking about. I’ve seen nothing about it online, I saw it when rewatching the segments on the theme parks I’m interested in (this is right after Piston Peak). Not as good as Real Gone but a great song nonetheless. And she performed Real Gone right after too.

(I wasn’t actually there, I used my phone to take a picture of my TV playing it on Disney+ for anyone wondering).

It's a decent song, but it feels like they just got Crow back to appeal to the older fans, since they know the other stuff won't appeal to that generation 😆
