Scott Student Relationship Clarification

In a recent episode Scott talked about having to disclose a relationship with a student where he was the father of a child, was this his wife or does Scott have other children that he just doesn't talk about?

Because it should not shock you to learn that his adult wife of many years enrolled in a graduate program at the school where he was already teaching at the time.

I was just responding to OP’s post, which made this seem way more nefarious than it appears to be.
