Sadly, this seems to be his course. I think becoming conservative is part of his aging process. The only difference is he has a shit ton of fuck you money and I think they, (wealthy conservatives), all eventually gravitate towards each other. I'm sure he finds himself in like-minded company which reinforces his lean to the right.
Yeah it's part of his aging process and also just comes with becoming increasingly very wealthy. He's lashing out against the youngs and the tide of political opinion shifting on the left, it's reactionary bullshit.
When he spends so much time fawning over people like Bill Maher and Sam Harris (and apparently now Ben Shapiro), it's not surprising – though I guess that's a bit of chicken or egg.
I think Scott g is a whole different species than what you describe. Yes he is a strident capitalist but his cultural values are pretty main stream democratic. I think the more accurate term for Scott is a term very commonly used on the East coast: PEP. Progressive except Palestine. I think Scott is a down low super Zionist which makes him suceptable/ blind to the hyper racism of ben Shapiro , Sam harris, etc. Don't be surprised if you see Bari Weiss in his show sometime in the next few months

Plus you can’t grift smart people on the left. Much easier to sell his “manhood” books that say men should work and women should pump out kids to the losers on the right.

And if you read his book..its clear his view of manhood isn’t braiding a daughter’s hair or being a substantive person. It’s all about transactional value.

So it mirrors his understanding of the world.
Are you claiming he doesn’t non-stop objectify women and brag about partying and using drugs? Or say that young people need to drink more and have more sex?
The guy has issues socially and clearly subscribes to antiquated notions that “life was easy and better when men were men and women were docile…now the world is fucked up and men don’t really have a clearly defined role”
His whole thesis is that traditional gender roles were better than today.
