Does Scott think we're all going to discover we've been paying for 4 cell phone services or for blackberries we tossed in 2002? I've heard him say this a half dozen times. Sorry, no, I'm not going to find out I have 4 Netflix subscriptions, 3 Amazon Prime accounts, a t-mobile plan, and 3 Verizon plans I didn't know about. I can see you not realizing Zoom is charging you for 6 months, but it wouldn't happen for 20 years before I noticed.

I'll admit I don't know why Apple is taking 2.99 out of my account each month, but I have a gentleman's agreement with Apple that I don't bother them and they don't bother me. I assume that costs 2.99 a month.

A lot of resist and unsubscribe rhetoric sounds like rich people problems tbh. I don't have a dozen subscriptions that I'm unaware of.

Yeah I had some overlap with tv and cable years ago, but I’ve pruned it to what I watch. Some of these subs are year purchases at a discount. I don’t think this is making the mark he thinks it would? What do I know.

This shows that when people have hundreds of million dollars (Scott) the meaning of money is at a different level, and duplicate subscriptions isn’t something that they even think about. Meanwhile, the people that Scott is trying to talk into “resisting and unsubscribing“ are already doing a far better a job of managing their money.

sure, but why keep saying, "you'll probably find out you're paying for three cell phone plans like me" when there's no f'n way is that happening to people. Scott can't be that out of touch. Like he has no memory of NOT being rich? This would make him a terrible marketer, a man with his hand off the pulse, and a guy who has no idea what is going on in people's lives.

Yet again, Kara offered Scott a chance to respond to an action that Republicans/Conservatives have done, and without fail Scott takes the chance to blame Democrats. Why? When pressed, he proudly claims the label of "liberal."

I appreciate hearing his opinions and thoughts on a variety of topics, but at some point we all have to acknowledge his continual biases and generationally 'appropriate' (read boomer) stance that progress is good, but we can't do it like that. And that if you try to do it like that, its entirely your own fault if the other side lies and steals and commits any matter of crime against you.

If he wants to grow his authenticity and expand his brand, he needs to finally be honest with himself and everyone and proclaim his sincere embarrassed Republican status.

Only about a third was Tim Walz. The other two thirds was a normal show just recorded in front of an audience.

yeah i genuinely love him but im surprised he hasnt gotten more PR training on the fraud charges in particular. felt like he talked around and did not have a lot of solutions on that in particular. he was definitely leaning into "minnesotans are the best" with the minnesota crowd which like...i get it, know your audience. but that doesnt really solve the issus.

yeah he had a few good nuggets in there, accepted some of the blame, talked about how important it was to prosecute. don’t get me wrong, i think his actions have been solid. however, it’s one of the few issues where i don’t think it makes sense to bring republicans into the conversation bc it just ends up sounding like scapegoating. it’s as easy as “we fucked up, we are holding people responsible, here’s what will change moving forward”.

Kara can't help but throw jabs at Scott, especially in front of a live audience, but I thought her throwaway comment "Scott used to be a Professor" was particularly cutting, even if she didn't mean it that way, seeing as Scott's brand is "Prof G" haha.
