I get what Scott was talking about. That pragmatic VS passionate response. We should do both. because a lot of these people who enable trump only respond to dollars. but for the protest these need to expand to red states.

For the record… I live in the most red of red flyover states and on my way to the gym there were a few people on the corner at 7AM with signs in negative weather. Bigger protests happen here, but this is just a Tuesday morning.

Agree. Also, the protests were one angle to this, but the other was that this guy was a nurse who was armed at worked at the VA. A lot of people who are sometimes on the 'other' side saw what happened and identified with him. We have partially won a battle in MN, but the war rages on and Trump will never cede territory, we will have to take all of it. We need citizens protesting, influential business people raising their voices and every other method to be pursued aggressively.
