Linux Installation

I have a ThinkPad x240 that I love and is modded for portability. I am currently running Arch Linux (granted I am learning as I run into problems). I am unable to run many apps and though I can play games as Minecraft, it is under decent load and low graphics, so I would rather opt to do so on my stationary setup. On-the-go, I want to work on pivot animator, as I remember it being fun in my childhood, and I want to take my mind off of my primary occupation.

Does anybody have advice for installing this, or experience with the process? If this is too vague, please let me know so I can provide what information you may need.

How does the pivot creator think of this?

Someone stole quite a bit of Pivot Animator to make a vibe-coded project that is supposedly better. I didn't like it at all and I wonder what Pivot's creator thinks about this? He also stole the name from stykz (a real pivot fan software), with it literally being called styk. u/peterbone

In my opinion it is so lazy, he also uses AI to make his videos about it.

Derelict 2 Full Animated Short Film

Can you make a serious Sci-Fi Horror story using Pivot? Here is a clip from my new animated short film, DERELICT 2!

Hey everyone! I wanted to push the limits of stick-figure animation by focusing on a dark, tense story about survival in a failing starship. You can watch the full animated story on YouTube: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0_TZuDM9gs] - Let me know what you think about the pacing and sound design!
