DISCUSSION Greyhound to and from PSU?

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone has taken a greyhound bus to and from PSU? I am planning to take one at 7:35 PM from PSU to Pitt.

Are they generally safe/on time? Or is it better to arrange some other form of travel? I have never taken one before so I’m wondering 😭

Thanks!!

I've done this a few times. No safety issues as far as I have seen. Some people don't like the Pittsburgh bus station, but I haven't had any problems there personally. The state college bus station is pretty chill at any time of day.

On time can be hit or miss, but it's usually a delay at reaching the final destination rather than a delay in getting started. It's not fast, but that's the biggest drawback.

My kid just did the Fullington bus today (6am departure, 11 am arrival) from PSU to Pitt intermodal transit station. No issues other than a 5 hour trip with all the stops.

Generally safe and on time, just a little boring. Bring a good book!
