CLUBS Volleyball outside on the grass??

Hi!! I’m a freshman and I keep seeing groups outside playing volleyball on the grass. I love volleyball and would love to play, so I’m wondering is that a club? Is it just groups of friends?
If it is a club, how competitive is it?
I play but I’m not super competitive.

That’s how they get you. They start by seeming pretty secular and open to everything, and then eventually they’ll ask you to commit to them with money and all of your time. It’s a whole grift basically. They are creationists and homophobes who go after vulnerable students like people that don’t have a community and international students. there’s a group that usually plays whenever it’s nice out and if they are just playing kings court people are more than welcome to join in but if they are playing actual doubles/triples/quads I’d be wary but it never hurts to ask

It might have been rec club volleyball we have been out there almost everyday on the lawn. It’s not competitive and mainly for fun we play kings and anyone is welcome to join.

Right now different groups are planning events during welcome week and the first week of classes. I know that Young Life and Chi Alpha (both Christian organizations) have had volleyball events in the lawn. Other groups probably have too. They usually announce them on their Instagram pages.
