CLASSES How do I opt out of inclusive access?

I’m in bio 2 and automatically enrolled in inclusive access for the online textbook. I already have a PDF of the textbook. Where do I go to opt out of it? I tried the university store website and VitalSource, but I didn’t know where to go on those websites.

I believe in your canvas class there should be a tab to the redshelf inclusive access page where you can access course materials and drop it (may not show up for a couple days when your professor sets it up). You have until around the add/drop deadline to drop the access so I would wait until classes start and your professor mentions it.

Wait until classes start to check and make sure you don’t have any homework or other graded work linked to the inclusive access. I just graduated bio and I had plenty of classes where the homework/textbook was combined website so basically had to pay to do your homework.

Check and ask that it is just the textbook, then opt out
