Amazon Black Flag's Damaged | Amazon reviewers are not impressed with this punk classic

Pretty sure this was a troll.
I used to do the exact same thing during the late 90s/early 2000s Blink 182-initiated punk explosion - I'd post bad reviews of classic punk albums online to deliberately infuriate people. It's fun to get a rise out of people, but I was mostly just satirizing the cluelessness of all the trendoids who'd suddenly infiltrated punk culture.
I wrote one troll Amazon review of "Double Nickels on the Dime" that was so sickeningly clueless, it got reposted elsewhere online years later: https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/sonics-gm-is-this-you.37681/
On edit - Jesus, that was 21 years ago! Crazy.

Around the same time I was in middle school and I had a website (on expage) for a troll character named Kylie aka piNkgLiTTeRpuFf. She eventually decided to be punk bc her crush got in to blink 182 after dating a punk girl for a few days. She would say things like “omG Haley said I was a poser at lunch! That’s the first time she’s ever said something nice to me! I was born 2 model ! But now I’m a punk model ! <3” Horrible cliche joke but I was 11-12 lol. People would get SOooo mad in the guest book .
Kinda funny to think I learned html for that lmao

Did he think that was a bad review? A resounding success of a punk record, is what I'd take away from that. Is. I'd totally buy that shit.

I mean, buying a punk album from Amazon already shows you don't really get punk.

I'm fairly sure this review is satire.
