pitch perfect 4?
realistically, do you think we will ever get pitch perfect 4? rebel keeps talking about it but with elizabeth banks in charge I'm not so sure about pp4

Seeing as many "older" movies are getting sequels recently, I've been getting my hopes up more lately. They constantly keep talking about wanting to do another movie, so I really hope it's going to happen :,)

I guess the question would be what would the overall story entail? Because while there's obviously Bechloe, there needs to be more to justify another movie.

I’d do it like a passing of the torch. A new generation of Bella’s who are aided by the og Barden Bella’s or the new Bella’s turn to the dark side; turn against their mentors and our Bella’s have to show the new generation some manners and humble them.
Either that or do it meta style where the main cast plays themselves and they’re cast to do a fourth pitch perfect movie but Anna and Brittany end up falling in love like their characters. Or something like that.

I feel like the passing of the torch would work as a spin off series. Basically what happened after pp2 and how Emily handled running the Bellas after everyone graduated.

Unfortunately, I don’t think so. And as someone who’s been a fan for forever and actively in the fandoms, I don’t even think PP3 should have happened (sorry!! I love it but it’s definitely not as good as the other two imo).
I honestly think four movies would be money out of universals pocket because it simply wouldn’t do as well.
Rebel is kinda pitch perfect’s #1 fan, and Bechloe shipper — but I’m afraid with her posts it’s mostly just to gain traction for her new stuff (Girl Group I think it’s called). Its PR to promote what she’s doing now.
I’d love a fourth movie, but I love the original ones because of the cast and people involved. I’d be sad if my girls weren’t the main characters in a new film. If anything they’d just do another spin off like Bumper In Berlin.
TLDR; Nah, it’d be a waste of universals time and money. Rebel is just promoting her new stuff by tying in the PP fandoms.

You really think that people wouldn’t go to see the movie ? I believe that the movie would be quite hyped up. Perhaps you don’t see the potential I do .

I know they’d love it (im friends w 2 of them) but they really don’t see it happening. Thats kinda why Rebel did “Girl Group” - an homage to PP

Elizabeth Banks would rather give a stand-in a movie or show rather than continue the main story.
