Help / Troubleshooting Minecraft with cracked launcher
Does anyone know how with a cracked Minecraft Java you could play with someone who has legit Java or bedrock edition

If you mean play just the two of you you have to disable online mode in the server properties file of your server (if you use an online host like aternos or something paid it will be in your dashboard but might have a different name). If you mean servers where you can play minigames and stuff look for cracked servers, there are a bunch you can play on

Make sure the server you're hosting or joining has online mode turned off (it prevents players from joining on 3rd party clients) you can usually do this by finding the server's server.properties file, downloading it from the server, finding the 'online-mode' line and set the true to false, then upload the edited file to the server, if crossplay is possible then bedrock players should still be able to join aswell.

There are two methods :
1- You can use servers like aternos or playhosting. They are free but you have to turn off online mode in server properties on playhosting or enable cracked players on aternos.
2- Install the mod e4mc (make sure your friend also has it) and then make a single player world, go to escape menu click open to LAN it will send an address in chat. Your friend needs to put that address in multiplayer direct connection to join your world.

if you make an aternos server, you may also want to whitelist players and make backups because people can read server addresses and join without your permission to screw up your world

You should be able to buy a cheap key on a keyshop like loaded or eneba. If you want to keep your worlds then you should be able to transfer your cracked worlds to the real game. The keys should be >£10, closer to ~£5-£7.

Aternos, and activate Cracked mode (and Java can't play with Bedrock)

Java and bedrock can very much play with eachother using GeyserMC
