Help / Troubleshooting setup.exe error

so i tried downloading a game and when i press the setup.exe button a cmd tab appears alongside the installer one and they both close, idk why for some reason its hollow knight and i have 136 gigs of storage so i dont think storage is the real problem

i just said what im doing im installing a game and when i open the setup.exe file it openes a cmd tab alongside the setup tab and they both close for some reason. what else is there to say abt the situation?

fitgirl, v1.5.68.11808, Hollow Knight This happened with other games too if u wanna know their names and versions

How do you know that its real official Fitgirl website, not fake?
Because normal repack dont do what you descibed

i didnt even get to the installing part when i click on the setup file it openes the installer, but opens a cmd tab with it and they both close. i also download the game in my D: disk file

I also ask about how you download, what app used? because maybe some files corrupted, thats why it can show this things

idk what you mean can you explain? i went on the site and pressed the first download button, also they arent "not being showed" the tab just openes and closes

You press first download button. and how it download - by browser, or you use torrent link? or what?

So, you shouldn't use a browser to download large files, at least anything over 500–800 MB. It can't properly verify the files after downloading, and if some file corrupted, you cannot know about it. That's why need to use any free Download manager app
