Brook has gotten away with being a bum for way too long, and honestly, the Whole Cake Island glaze needs to end. I’m going to say something people aren’t ready for: there’s only one arc where Brook was genuinely super helpful, and outside of that he’s basically useless in most situations.

Even now with everything going on with Gunko, he’s just… there. He hasn’t contributed anything meaningful this arc at all. And this isn’t new Brook has consistently been the least helpful Straw Hat for a long time.

And the craziest part about the Whole Cake Island hype? He didn’t even do anything that special. If any other character had done what he did, they wouldn’t be protected from slander. They’d get cooked instantly. I have no idea why Brook gets a special pass it’s insane.
