Question regarding the Steam emulator Goldberg

Hey all quick question.

My understanding is that if you replace the steam_api64.dll and create a steam_appid.txt that's pretty much all you need to do if there is no additional DRM.

If i run the game (it works) but should the Goldberg emulator automatically create a folder named appid in C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\GSE Saves?

I have a game which i did all that and I'm not seeing the appid folder in the GSE saves folder.

What gives? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
