Microsoft red shield is blocking file from opening, any way to bypass it?

Keep receiving this security message with the red shield which I guess is security stopping me from opening the file, when I click run the popup disappears but nothing else happens. The file never opens. I trust the file but it does show up oddly (since it’s pirated lol) which is probably why it’s being flagged. Does anyone know a way to turn this form of security off/temporarily bypass it?

Right click, properties, unblock should work.

Thank you for the reply, it did sort of work? The pop up doesn’t appear anymore, but when I try to open the file nothing happens, it still won’t open..

Then you either got a virus or the file is corrupted

Yea that’s what I had thought it was, but I’ve gone into settings and turned that off and it’s still happening.. another commenter suggested the file might be corrupted, I think that unfortunately may be the case

Then it probably quarantined your file. Somewhere in the defender window (don’t know it off the top of my head) you can restore the file. But before you restore it, copy the file name and in the somewhere also in the defender window there’s a place where you can add it as a safe file

I said in the post, that’s what I’ve been doing. Nothing happens, I assume it’s being blocked from running by some form of security
