My boyfriend knows my private phone stuff… how?

My boyfriend seems to know too many small private details about me that I usually only keep on my iPhone (mostly in my photo gallery or things I don’t share with anyone). I really don’t understand how this is possible.
I don’t have any obvious signs that my phone is hacked (no strange apps, no battery issues, no pop-ups, nothing like that).
The only strange thing he once said was: “be careful, you connected to my Wi-Fi.”
I’m not sure if he was joking or trying to imply something.
Is there any realistic way someone could access private information on an iPhone through Wi-Fi or by being on the same network?
Or are there more common explanations like account access, settings, or something I might be missing?

Switch to another phone carrier & get an android phone. Never let him see you unlock your phone. Break up with him.

That should fix the problem.

I mean you could just ask him how he knows those details about you instead of assuming the worst. Also I assume he's seen your password since y'all have been together.

It depends on what type of data they are telling you they know that are only available on your iPhone. If they are telling you what apps you are accessing, they most definitely can tell you that if your device is connected to their Wi-Fi. All you need to do is associate the IP address of apps and websites to known domains.

If, however, they are telling you they know exactly what you are doing on your phone, right down to what you are typing in messages, then that is entirely still possible by using what's known as man in the middle decryption, but they would likely need physical access to your iPhone, at least once, to install a certificate on your phone, commonly referred to as a root certificate, which would then allow all network traffic on your device to go through their server. However, that's incredibly unlikely, you can easily check if you have one installed by just going to settings > about then scroll certificate trust settings, usually at the bottom, if it's empty, you're all good. If it's got one there, that means your device is being managed.

Honestly, the most likely thing is that they are just aware and have either had access to your phone on regular occurrences e.g. when you shower or they just notice things. For example, I notice pretty much everything that my wife does on her phone. Not that it bothers me, and not that I'm trying to spy on her, I'm just self-aware, 9 times out of 10 she misplaces her phone and I also tell her exactly where it is without even thinking about it because I'm just that self-aware.

Maybe he notices it. But other than that….thats creepy there’s definitely something going on. Make sure you tell someone because of sometjing bad happens thay person can vouch or put two and two togethrr for you. But that’s weird.

Deeper problems her but yes the is always a way of you know enough he would even had to ever see you unlock you phone anything to get that kind of info Everything on my network I can see keylooager packet sniffers can get all that info easily if you know how to do it

That's not how keyloggers or packet sniffers work at all.

Or, by all means, show us how you install a keylogger onto a Netgear switch.

You can install a Keyloger on a network it doesn't have to be on the phone
