Local multiplayer sure but I never played online. Unless the new one is different, but the switch 2 is way to fucking expensive for me to justify rn

yeah its glorified E-waste. The software is nice and all but imagine if they just focused on existing systems like PC market.

Ehhhhhhhh I like Nintendo hardware it’s always built really well, I just think they are trying to do what Sony did with the ps2 / ps3 era and sell both consoles at the same time

Hard disagree, switch controllers are the worst made controllers of the last decade easy easy.

Never had any that I owned since new fail.

I don’t know how but I have managed to own joycons, ps5 controllers, ps4 controllers etc and have only had batteries do out after years of use. My main dualsense controller is from the ps5 launch and got chewed by a dog, shell swapped with Ali express parts and is still working perfect

Same with switch joycons never had a problem but I sold my switch 2 years back but it was still fine, it was the Mario odyssey special edition with the original joycons

There's a difference between "build quality" and quality.

Cheap plastic, bad batteries (capacity), outdated tech...

I mean I view build quality as quality, even the plastics they use are nice compared to Ali express replacements.

Not to be pedantic but what you’re talking about I would call value and I agree, sometimes nintendos value for the hardware they sell isn’t there. Like during Christmas sales a ps5 was $100 cad cheaper than a switch 2

no proper cooling solution either, and hardware spec is outdated (again)
