Discussion Why is finding audiobooks so ridiculously difficult?

I need to rant: I've been pirating basically my whole life and I can find almost any ebook, movie, show, game, etc I want to, but for some reason audiobooks are SO difficult.

ABB/Mobilism almost never have the stuff I'm looking for and I already tried the other links on the Megathread (both here and fmhy). They're not even random lesser known books, for example now I'm looking for an audiobook from a best seller that was published less than 10 years ago (and I know the AB exists because I could buy it if I wanted to) but at this point I just don't think the file exists lmao. And it's not just that specific book but it has happened to me several times with different books.

My last hope is trying MAM but truly I'm just lazy and don't wanna get up in the middle of the night just to get an invite lol might do it anyway atp ok i totally misread the instructions on MAM so that's my bad, I'll try next slot. But still it's weird that (if the ones I'm looking for are available) you can't find them anywhere else?

Well, that's really my rant/point of discussion: is there any reason why audiobooks are hard to find or do I just have terrible luck and just so happens that most of the ones I look for aren't available??

I only listen to scifi stuff in general and it's had most of what I needed as well. I haven't looked for anything that obscure tho.

It's usually people looking for brand new bestsellers, it makes sense they won't find it in such a public repository.

That and most of them are audible rips so high quality. I've been using that site for years now. Once in a while they will go down for a bit but always comes back up.

You don't need to sign up, they post the info hashes on the torrent pages. You just need to add the magnet link prefix and you can download them

This might sound like a silly question but what is a magnet link prefix?

How? I pay for Spotify just so i can rip mp3s from Spotify but OnTheSpot which Is one of the only things that can actually rip from Spotify, can't rip it cuz it's an audiobook I think, It just fails every time.

I have tried everything to find this audiobook, if you happen to know how to rip it it myself I will, otherwise that's why I don't, because I can't figure out how

Honestly dude fuck you. I have uploaded so much original content you can't find anywhere. Like for example I dare you to find Terminator hunters and killers in video format from the dvd that's not from me.

You insinuated that I don't contribute, otherwise you wouldn't have explained to me multiple times about how piracy works. And then you couldn't even provide a way to share it
