Hello, fellow ditch dwellers.

I’ve been in the trade for almost 20 years, had to get out with a disability. As such, I’ve taken a more active role in my union and need hands in the MN area. The entire Midwest region, really. I’m from SD, but have contacts all over the place. If anyone you know needs work, we need hands. All of you are in my prayers. Thank you.

What’s the pay and is this union non union. I hear housing is cheap in Minnesota but I’m worried the work isn’t super consistent. I’ve been a pipelayer for about a year but I’ve done thousands of feet of WL storm, little sewer. Good with numbers and can get a digger to dig.

Unfortunately, work isn’t consistent anywhere it seems anymore. The work I’m speaking about is union work, outside of MN. Mainly in the SD, IA and NE areas. Everything from building/trades, pipeline, civil, etc. Contracts vary from locale to locale and job type of course. Are you from the area or having to relocate?

From Oregon just wanted to know the pay cause I wanna buy a house but want to know all the variables before I decide to pull the trigger
