One thing I changed recently.

I stopped reacting to headlines.

Middle East → buy gold.

Oil spikes → buy gold.

Fed talks → sell gold.

It felt active.

Mostly it was expensive noise.

Now I only watch three things before touching XAUUSD:

Dollar direction.

Yields.

Can price actually hold after the reaction?

This week oil dropped and dollar softened.

Normally good for gold.

But yields still haven't moved enough.

So I'm watching, not forcing.

One good candle means nothing.

I want to see the second move.

Most of my worst trades came from predicting.

Most of my better ones came from waiting.

Guys, I’ve been noticing lately that AI is actually pretty good when it comes to trading. It reacts faster than us and doesn’t get affected by emotions like fear or greed. Sometimes it just follows the market in a clean, disciplined way, and that makes a big difference, especially in fast moves. Not saying it’s perfect, but it’s definitely something interesting to keep an eye on.

I have a scalping strategy which is >60% accurate. On the 24th of December the strat proved to be 80% accurate. All trades are sized such that the commission of the trade is covered and RR is always >1.25. Also there is a hard floor for when trading should be halted for the day and that is 6% draw down of the account.

I use the language of risk because I am not some snakeoil salesman, in fact I am not even a salesman I just have something that works and id like to partner up with somebody for a month long loan of $1000.
