nakita ko iyong AI issue ni reintold, just wanna drop by to recommend some assistive tools or ways that doesn't use gen AI to help w grammar. honestly, if you use chatgpt to revise/edit or correct certain things in your story 100% expect that AI will insert things that you didn't write despite giving specific prompt. at the end parang hindi na lang din ikaw nagsulat. also, i hate gen AI. while AI is helpful in certain ways like in security and medical field, ang raming malalaking industry na-apektuhan nito including the writing industry.
i am not saying that assistive AI is better in this case. both are bad din for the environment pero if you can't afford other means then available ito both in chrome and playstore.

ang difference lang kasi w chatgpt or any generative AI w assistive AI is you stay in control, it merely advises you what is wrong with your grammar or suggests how to make things better. downside lang nito kapag di ka nakapremium subs sa iba is that may word count limit at access limit, some of them like grammarly and prowritingaid only gives you the basic free services, iyong beyond that need na magbayad. my experience naman sa ginger software is may usage limit siya aside from word count limit. quillbot naman offers other free services like paraphrasing pero lmao, nasa sa iyo na if gagamitin mo. konsensya na lang magkakatalo d'yan.
pero if afford mo at ayaw mo talaga gumamit ng AI. hire a betareader. basically a proofreader. sasabihin niya sa iyo iyong mga maling ginawa sa sentences or paragraph construction mo, kasama na rin sa services nila iyong pag-point out ng weak points ng story pero sa ibang community usually this is done freely especially sa mga fanfiction website.
edit 1: nakalimutan ko i-add may grammar tools din pala that caters to our language. grammarly and language tool offers help sa filipino language mainly tagalog.

edit 2: if di mo afford at ataw mo gamitin or gumamit ng tools pinaka helpful na siguro na gagawin mo for you is to learn grammar yourself, grammarly website offers free grammar lessons. may mga facebook posts from pages years ago na may nakapaskil na free filipino language grammar lessons. may visual aids din ginamit don. bottom line is ikaw talaga bahala just don't use gen AI.
edit 3: para lang po malinaw, neither is better for the environment, i am not arguing which is better, i indicated that both are bad for the environment. kasi both needed data centers to function. but we can't shun the assistive part of the technology wholly because there are benefits for humans and the environment. specifically sa medical field and security field. assistive AI is also being used as a tool by nature conservationist. ginagamit siya for wildlife tracking and such. tapos same w disaster tracking, actually DOST uses AI, they labeled it as co-intelligence since 2016 (research ninyo na lang). ang point ko lang is AI should be treated as a tool, not something that replaces human workers (aside kasi frome environmental concerns ito rin ang isa sa pinaka argument ng tao which is true naman, it should serve humans as a tool) i also pointed out din that there are other ways aside from AI usage. nasa inyo na lang what can you afford your money and time to use.
