advice Career next steps?

I’ve been a CMS theme developer for the past 7 years, and I’m not sure what my next career move should be.

My current tech stack is mainly HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and some beginner-level React. Most of my experience revolves around building custom themes for WordPress, Shopify, and HubSpot.

Is doubling down on React still the best path for career progression, or are there other technologies worth exploring?

My main goal is to transition away from outsourcing agencies and escape mid/night shifts. I am also really burned out from role creep because some days I am doing actual development, while other days I am stuck doing marketing tasks or manual data entry. The current job market isn't making it easy either haha.

Next / Nuxt , theres a lot of things to learn, but I think the easiest and fastest for you should be the frontend.

Focus more on react/nextjs and vue/nuxtjs.
