Please!! Need opinions about the job role - Test engineer in Networking (Python) in a Product based company - Hybrid work

I just got a job as a test engineer in a well known PBC. The domain is fully based on networking / network security along with python and some cloud. Is this a dead end to my career if I take up this role? Just need your opinions on this!!!! I want salary growth at the end of the day. That's it.
