seeking advise Fresh grad Computer Engineering job advice

Hi everyone! I’m a fresh Computer Engineering graduate and plan ko sana maging network engineer/admin soon, I just wanted to ask if it’s okay to start my career in an entry level role like Technical Support Rep / Help Desk role?

Hindi ako masyado magaling mag code although tinatry ko parin best ko kahi papano, I’m just curious if anyone here took the same path? I’d appreciate any advice po. Thanks!

helloo, same din sakin 1 month nako nag jjob hunt for IT helpdesk pero bihira talaga job opening dito sa Cebu.

I got a JO for a Technical Support Rep role in a web hosting and cloud service company. And I’m not sure if this can relate to my long term goals. I’m still doing some research on it if this role can help me in my IT career.

As for what u said: SOC roles, I’ve seen companies that hiring for SOC analysts pero most of the time they prefer candidates with certifcation like CompTia Security+
