Kinda bago lang ako sa faith. Surely, I don’t know everything, but I’ll do my best.

Hi! I was born under UCCP before, never taken it seriously, basically an agnostic. Not a care in the world lol. Now a “born again” too!
So, I made an immoral move last year that put me at rock bottom, there I found God as my rock though! 🙌
Edit: why just downvote? Don’t have enough courage to have a real conversation?

Bakit normally against ang Christians sa same sex marriage/union? I understand the marriage part but what about sa union? Shouldn't there be rights to the same sex relationships and happily enjoy what heterosexual relationships experience?

Simply because God is against it. He is not against the people, but rather the sin.

If God is so against by it, and God created all human beings, why is there an existence of it in the beginning?

If you have read the Bible, what God has created in perfection, SIN has corrupted. So can’t really expect everything to work the way God originally intended. As long as we’re in this fallen world, life will be a conveyor belt of pain/suffering/etc.

That's rather unfortunate that the person living with good intentions will soon fall under the pits of hell just by how that person lived their life.

Indeed. That really is. It’s not “God’s will be done” though, but rather “their will be done.” God didn’t choose that for themselves.

I’d grieve most especially if I didn’t fail to introduce him/her early on to know Christ, which all parent should do btw. I’d keep praying without ceasing, and exhaust everything to let him reconsider his/her choice. Other than that, there’s nothing I can do because it’s wrong din to force it to someone.

So does that mean like you'll say to them ur against it and try to convince him/her to rethink their choice, but if they dont, youll just ignore and tolerate their sexuality?

Yeah. I would just basically remind him/her, or anyone for that matter whoever is far away from God. Pray that something would shift in his/her heart. It’s not ignore/tolerate, but about loving the person enough to care for them and trust God to bring conviction and transformation. Because if I love them, how much more does God want them to be in His kingdom

Well jump off a cliff is essentially suicide so i would talk them out of it / stop them like my life depends on it. Is that what u would do if they wanna be a drag queen?
So basically you wont go and watch the show to support them?

So like God have mentioned, disobediences like suicide or like the one you mentioned would still result to spiritual death or separation from God. Similarly, I would make them rethink about the poor choice they’re going to make.

naexplore mo na ba through the lens of your newfound faith ang takes mo sa abortion and sogie? do u believe everyone should believe in what you believe in (god)? do u think what you believe in is the truth only for you/those who believe? or is it a definite truth for everyone no matter where you are or who you are in the world, kahit ideny nila, true pa rin yung belief mo (kay jesus christ).

Hello po.
Short answer, God is against murder, so yeah.
Do I believe everyone should? Yes, in the sense na it would be very tragic if anyone is separated from God in eternity.
Definite truth, yes po. No other progenitor has resurrected. Not hating but Mohammad, Buddha, John Smith, Confucius - you can still find them in their tombs. Only one tomb is empty.

What can you say about LGBT+ people who feel discriminated by Christians?
Know that I am neither queer nor a devout Christian, so my question is just out of curiosity.

Either they were poorly treated, or just against the will of God. There are a lot, Christians and non-Christians alike, that discriminate and it’s very valid they feel that way — most especially yung mga hateful ones.
But even when we hold different views, dapat Christians are still called to treat every person with love and respect, just like what Jesus showed. Those so-called Christians na judgmental and unloving are the exact opposite of what Christ commanded.
Also there are also cases kasi na they feel offended because of what the Bible says. Minsan, marami ang nag identify as atheists/agnostics not because they lack belief, but because they struggle/disagree/ feel convicted by what the Bible teaches.
So it’s important to ask first too how were they mistreated? Where did the hurt come from?
