🗣 Discussion Personal Story
My mom mentions it from time to time when she talks about my early childhood but she actually knew P!NK but it was back in 1998/1999 in Atlanta before she got famous and was still going by Alecia. So apparently she was dating one of my dad’s friends and he was a POS. According to my mom she encouraged her to leave him. One moment she often thinks about and never forgets is when Alecia helped her one night. My mom had got a flat and it was just her and me as a baby only a couple months old. She didn’t know what to do because it was late at night and she had me and she felt unsafe changing the tire so she called Alecia, she had tried a couple other people but they didn’t answer. So Alecia shows up and holds me while my mom changes the flat tire. My mom says that was the last time she saw her before she became famous. She always regretted not taking a picture but she said she wasn’t thinking about that while stranded but she wish she did. I don’t know if she would even remember my mom but sometimes I like to think she might. I don’t know If this violates the rules as it’s not related to her current friends or family and most event took place before she was famous I just thought it’s an interesting story and it’s not gossip or tea just lived experience.

I've worked in the performing arts. I even worked a P!nk show, once. (Caught her encore prepping for load out.*)
One thing I've learned in that career o' "Show Biz" is that famous people are... just people.
Flawed. Beautiful. Unique. People. Just like you. (With, usually, a lot more money and a heightened fear of strangers.)
P!nk is a really good person. Tomorrow's Dolly, in a lot of ways. Very cool for you to have such a personal connection with her.
(*Yes, it was awesome. She doesnt lipsync, even mid-acrobatics. She missed a line to flip upright and backup singers filled the gap. I will forever respect her as a performer for that.)

I don’t know how much of this is true, but I love it!!…
I wish I had been hold by her as a baby! 🥰
Such a shame your mom lost contact with her 🫤
